A Trip to the Southwest

At the Grand Canyon

An amazing journey came to an end today as a group of students returned from New Mexico and Arizona. During their 10 day sojourn they had so many experiences from being on top of the mesa at Acoma Pueblo to working  in the garden at Los Jardines Institute.  This once-in-a-lifetime trip opened up their eyes to the history, culture and issues of the people of the Southwest  as they were invited into the homes and communities of the people who live their. They also were able to see many awe inspiring geographical sites from the Painted Desert to the Grand Canyon.  To read more about this trip and see some of the spectacular photos that were taken, you can click on the following links.  We broke this down into parts for faster downloading.  It’s well worth the wait!
