Our special guest for today’s “Conversation with…” was restaurateur Farid Bishara Salloum. Mr. Farid is the owner and CFO (Chief Falafel Officer) of Baba’s Kitchen in Locust Point. He talked about his career path from engineering to a MBA to opening his own local source restaurant serving Mediterranean food. Mr. Farid shared his views about creating a positive workplace culture and about his Palestinian roots, culture and history. All of the students were keenly interested in his story and are looking forward to his return visit in a couple of weeks where he will share his food.
