TCS Alumni Gather

A new TCS Alumni Association was launched last night. Organized by Americorps/VISTA volunteer and TCS graduate Donald Lacy, there was a spirited reunion and meeting at the school. After everyone had a turn updating each other about their lives, the group decided to continue to meet and develop an organization. Purposes included supporting the school, networking, doing service and social activities. The founding members are Dyrrell Moon, Salma Ruiz-Cruz, Marcus McKeever, Daj’a White, Sadie Greenwood, Janiah Tillery, Elias Harris, Claude Nicholson and Donald Lacy.

Great Deals, Great Time!

Thank you to all of those folks who came out despite the rain to support our Yard Sale yesterday! It was a successful event – great to see neighbors and friends, folks walked away with some great stuff at amazing prices and money was raised for the school!For those of you who didn’t come out because of the rain, you can still get many great items on YARD SALE PART 2 this Saturday, August 28th, from 10AM to 2PM.

A Special Thanks to our great crew! Donald did a great job pulling this event together and coordinating it. Ms. Leah has been the other key person on the team who has been working all summer to prepare for this event. Thank you to the rest of the day of event crew: Ryan, Fleesie, Dave, Jenae, Leandra, Quinn, Tom and Olivia.
