Conversation and Seminar with Maeve Lynch
We had a really unique conversation and seminar today! Maeve Lynch came in to talk about her career as an auto body repair person and then proceeded to have a seminar on how to do a repair. The repair was on the back of the school van that had been hit many months ago while parked outside of the school.
The students were amazed at the tools Maeve used and the skill she displayed, and equally by her calm and patience as she completed the tedious process.
All of this was made possible by Maeve’s Godfather, friend of the school and neighbor Jim Burger. Jim’s wife Sue and best friend Kevin Lynch, Maeve’s father, were also on hand for this seminar.
Thank you so much Maeve for sharing your time talking with the students, being another great example of women in nontraditional career roles, and for doing a first rate job on the van. Thank you Jim for not only being Maeve’s Godfather, but being the Godfather of the van for the 2nd time in 2 years and keeping it looking good!
