Conversation with Bridgette Pearce

Author and youth advocate Bridgette Pearce was our guest today in the “Conversation with…” series. She shared her experiences growing up surrounded by abuse and addiction, and her remarkable story of determination to escape those circumstances and build a fulfilling life of family, career and service to others. Bridgette is part of CASA of Baltimore County where she is President of the Board of Directors and a volunteer youth advocate.
We met Ms. Pearce at the Associated Italian-American Charities Giving Night. She is the author of the Memoir “Detached.” Her honest sharing about her early life had a real impact on the students. She generously gave each student a signed copy of her book and offered assistance if any would ever need her.
We are very thankful for her kindness, shared life lessons and example of strength in the face of adversity.
