Conversation with Dr. Alan Scott

Today, we welcomed back regular guest teacher Dr. Alan Scott, Professor of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He answered a broad range of questions from the students about the immune system, vaccines, various diseases as well as breakthroughs in research and treatment. Dr. Scott has been coming to the school for years several times each term to teach special seminars on issues such as COVID, monkeypox, and herd immunity and other sessions that are just question and answer periods. Today’s session was part of the current health curriculum on the body’s systems and was both enlightening and sparked the student’s interest even more. Thank you Dr. Scott.
