Conversation with Marc Steiner

We were honored to have Marc Steiner join us yesterday to share his knowledge and perspective on the conflict in Israel and Palestine. Marc’s knowledge is both personal and profound. He has family members from Poland who perished in the Holocaust and others that were living in the kibbutz attacked on October 7th. He also has friends in Palestine and has been a life long human and civil rights organizer. Marc is a prominent radio and media figure in Baltimore that has given him the opportunity to interview and have dialogue with people on the many sides of this issue.
A key characteristic of TCS students is their interest in and knowledge of what is going on in the community and the world. They have been following this issue since long before this current crisis and were keenly interested in learning more, especially personal stories. Marc was a great source and answered all of their questions and engaged in a meaningful conversation and discussion with the students.
We are grateful for Marc Steiner’s many years of demonstrated commitment to justice and improving the lives of people and his generous sharing of time with us once again.
