The first of the “Conversation with…” series was kicked off today with the TCS Board of Trustees. This annual seminar is a chance for the Trustees to welcome the students and for each to get to know one another. It started with a delicious and relaxing lunch and then continued with introduction of each student followed by each of the Trustees sharing their personal stories about their histories with the school. Attending Trustees were Dave Bayer, chairperson; Justin Switzer, treasurer; and Ryan Gavin, secretary and the longest serving member Ed Gavin who has been a part of this organization since he was 12 years old. New student Hannah Cogen commented, “I think it is very inspiring to hear people’s stories about how this school has affected people.” Aidan McIntosh expressed his confidence in the Trustees this way, ” I am glad that they are a part of the school and I know the school is safe in their hands.”
