Conversation with Wendel Patrick

Multi-talented musician Wendel Patrick came to the school today as our Conversation with…” guest. Wendel started his musical career as a concert pianist and has played with orchestras around the world. He continued to expand his direction into other genres of music including most notably hip hop and in both photography and videography. Wendel teaches at the Peabody Institute and was recently a teaching fellow at Harvard.
Wendel shared stories about his life but also his perspective on talent and skill, fulfillment and achievement. the students especially liked hearing his music and learning how it is made as well as sharing a segment of the Out of the Blocks radio program that he did with Aaron Henkin.
It was a real pleasure having Wendel back with us again. thank you Wendel!
