Danny Buck Wins Award for Essay
“…My goal is to become one of the great scientists who use their work to advance the world to make it a better place, making room for the next scientist that will come after me. I would like to become a pillar, or as Newton would say, a giant whose shoulders shall be stood on, by the philosophers who desire to solve the mysteries of our vast and absurd universe so our species can fulfill its nigh-infinite potential for greatness.”
This was part of an essay written by TCS 9th grade student Danny Buck for the Dream Big Contest held by The Lyric. Danny was a finalist and will be accepting his award on stage at a ceremony at The Lyric on April 26th. We are very proud of Danny’s accomplishments and even more so of the kind of person that Danny and his classmates are!
