Our goal is to bring students in grades nine to twelve and their sponsoring teachers and administrators from public, private, and parochial schools in Maryland together and provide them with an opportunity to interact with individuals who have both experienced and studied genocide and its causes, consequences, and ramifications on the human race. This year we will be focusing on antisemitism then and now, discrimination during the aftermath of the Holocaust, and intergenerational trauma. We are so fortunate to have Dr. Ellen Kennedy, Executive Director of World Without Genocide, joining us for a virtual keynote, as well as testimony from Holocaust survivors.
