SUMMARY:Guest Artist: Chris Ciattei
DESCRIPTION:Bio\nChris Ciattei\, also known as “Batworth\,” is a Baltimore native\, drummer\, poet\, and creator of\nvisual art. Chris’s visual art is mostly mixed media photography-blending abstract and\nexpressionist augmentation—both analog and digital. His work has been shown at Katsea\nGallery\, Overlea Arts Fest\, and 1919\, and appeared in the May 2023 issue of The Light\nEkphrastic. Chris has read his poetry at a variety of venues over the last 35 years. His recent\nbook of poetry Nothing Doing was published by Apathy Press in 2022. \nI will be presenting samples of my visual art\, and discussing the various processes involved in\ntheir creation. I Will also discuss how my visual art\, poetry\, and music have had a beneficial\neffect on one another. I will also discuss my experience in the local music and literary scene.
