Bio Chris Ciattei, also known as “Batworth,” is a Baltimore native, drummer, poet, and creator of visual art. Chris’s visual art is mostly mixed media photography-blending abstract and expressionist augmentation—both analog and digital. His work has been shown at Katsea Gallery, Overlea Arts Fest, and 1919, and appeared in the May 2023 issue of The Light Ekphrastic. Chris has read his poetry at a variety of venues over the last 35 years. His recent book of poetry Nothing Doing was published by Apathy Press in 2022. I will be presenting samples of my visual art, and discussing the various processes involved in their creation. I Will also discuss how my visual art, poetry, and music have had a beneficial effect on one another. I will also discuss my experience in the local music and literary scene. I will also have time for questions and general discussion with students regarding their creativity and perspectives. https://www.instagram.com/chrisciattei23/ |

Raised by a pack of VCRs, filmmaker Chris LaMartina has channelled his analog upbringing into weird horror comedies. To date, he’s directed nine feature films including WNUF Halloween Special, its sequel, the Out There Halloween Mega Tape, and the H.P. Lovecraft satire, Call Girl of Cthulhu. He previously ran the Baltimore oddities museum, Dr. Gloom’s Crypt of Curiosities, and alongside his wife, Melissa, he co-directed and co-produced the live action sequences for the analog horror video game, Amanda the Adventurer. When not fiddling with VHS tapes, he plays drums in the surf punk band, Beach Creeper. You can find him on Instagram at @Chris.LaMartina and support his Halloween novelty record addiction by buying his stuff at WNUFhalloweenspecial.com https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_LaMartina https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1958351/ |

Cheryl Fair Sun, Sep 7, 4:59 PM (1 day ago) to me Ms. Dinkins’ creative journey spans fashion, illustration, jewelry, mixology, and holistic practices, all rooted in a desire to inspire and uplift. Today, she extends that vision through writing, having recently published books that she first imagined in high school. The Doll House Fantasies (one of her favorite projects and upon which her workshop will be based) was a series of miniature, inviting homes composed of cardboard and creativity; they were displayed and sold in the gift shop of the National Building Museum. https://www.feverandsecrets.com |
