Immunology Lecture Part III

Today was the 3rd in a series of immunology seminar presented by Dr. Alan Scott, professor at Johns Hopkins University. Today’s seminar focused on the main types of vaccines and how they work to inform and boost the immune system. Dr. Scott also presented a brief history of modern pandemics and vaccine discoveries as well as controversies and complacency from a growing number of people in the developed countries in rejecting vaccinations. This seminar series has fascinated the Year 2 students and is an in depth supplement to this terms health course.
