Dr. Scott Part 2Learning all about the immune response system was the topic of the day in the 2nd in a series of Immunology Lectures presented to the Year 2 Class by Dr. Alan Scott. Dr. Scott is a professor in the Molecular Microbiology and Immunology Department at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. Not only did the  students learn about the specific components of the body’s immune system and how they coordinate to provide protection against pathogens, but also learned about breakthrough research that is taking place in the field.
