Students See Selma
February 16, 2015
The class attended a showing of the movie Selma today. It was a moving experience and helped to make this part of American history come alive for the students. Tonight, they are writing about the experience and doing research including reading the front pages from the New York Times from the days of the original marches back in 1965. Much thanks to the Charles Theatre for providing the tickets and to Vernon Laumann and Kim Poe who provided the rides.
